WHAT IS MY COVERAGE?
Claims-Made Professional Liability Bodily Injury Coverage in the amount of $250,000 per occurrence / $750,000 in the policy period aggregate (7/1 – 6/30 annually with prorated coverage pricing for providers who enroll during a policy year). Coverage afforded under the AAHP-RRG is intended to help affiliated academic healthcare providers demonstrate financial responsibility under Florida Statute 458.320 and to remain in compliance with hospital bylaws and requirements.

HOW DO I REPORT AN EVENT/CLAIM/CLAIM NOTICE?
As an AAHP-RRG member, it is required that you notify us if you were involved, or alleged to have been involved, in an event while delivering healthcare services that may have caused or resulted in an injury (real or perceived) to a patient. Please immediately call us at 352-273-7006 (toll free 844-MY FL SIP), or click HERE to complete a secure and protected online healthcare liability event report.

HOW DO I GET A COPY OF MY COVERAGE DECLARATION PAGE or CLAIM HISTORY REPORT?
The Release of Information process is intended for use ONLY by current or previous AAHP-RRG Members. Submissions by individuals other than AAHP-RRG members will not be processed.
All requests to release information must be accompanied by a properly executed Release. The Release is a fillable PDF that may be completed online or printed and manually populated, must be printed for signature (wet signature), scanned and saved as a PDF, and returned to the Insurance Services team via the below option for processing. WHO DO I CONTACT IF THERE HAS BEEN A MATERIAL CHANGE IN MY PRACTICE/LICENSURE/CLAIM ACTIVITY?
If an AAHP-RRG Member (current active policy) experiences material changes to her/his underwriting risk (e.g., claim history, licensure status, practice restrictions), Members (prospective and current) are required to contact us per the policy language.
For material changes related to Claims, Members may simply complete and send an AAHP-RRG Underwriting – Claim Supplement Form for each claim, suit, and judgement against her/him. Claim Supplement Forms can be found HERE and are in a fillable PDF version.
